Another loss for the Hurricanes’ offense. WR Lawrence Cager, Miami’s tallest receiver (6’5″ 210 pounds) will sit out the entire 2016 season due to knee injury.
Cager tore his ACL in his right knee while participating in a 7-on-7 workout on campus on Thursday, July 14.
Lawrence Cager, from West Baltimore, Maryland, finished his freshman year with eight passes for 70 yards and one touchdown catch at North Carolina. Playing in 11 games as a true freshman, the receiver was expected to a major impact in UM’s offense this fall.
Prayers for Cager.
